CT6 8L90 diagnosis follows same path as other GM 8L90 vehicles. Dexron HP fluid verification is critical — incorrect fluid causes shudder. CT6 PHEV requires hybrid-aware diagnostic: evaluate both hybrid control module and transmission codes simultaneously. PHEV shift harshness is typically calibration-related and addressed by software update. CT6-V overheating diagnosis checks cooler flow and fluid condition — adding an aftermarket cooler is an option for track-use vehicles. eAWD coupling noise on PHEV is isolated by decoupling the rear motor under controlled test conditions.

The CT6-V's 550 hp twin-turbo generates significant heat under hard acceleration. The factory cooler is adequate for street use but may be overwhelmed on track days or mountain passes. We can install an upgraded cooler for high-performance applications.
