Symptoms: Shudder at highway cruise, DTC P0740, vibration at 55β70 mph
722.6/NAG1 rebuild replaces conductor plate, solenoid pack, all clutch packs, torque converter, and all seals. Mercedes uses MB 236.10; Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep applications use Mopar NAG1 ATF. Valve body is cleaned and inspected.
Change fluid every 40,000 miles β MB 236.10 for Mercedes applications, Mopar NAG1 ATF for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Do not cross-contaminate fluid types between applications even though the transmission hardware is identical.
They are the same transmission β Mercedes-Benz 722.6 is rebadged as NAG1 in Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep applications. Hardware is identical; fluid specification differs.
