E-Pace 9HP50 diagnosis requires Jaguar SDD. Software version check - Jaguar and Aisin released calibration updates for 1-2 harshness and gear hunting. ATF verification: Aisin-specified ATF WS or equivalent is required for the 9HP50 (different from F-Pace's ZF fluid). Shudder test under cruise load. Rear AWD coupling seal is a separate inspection. Cold-start delay: valve body or accumulator inspection after software update fails to resolve. Full rebuild for units with confirmed clutch pack or mechanical damage from extended symptom driving.

The E-Pace uses an Aisin 9HP50 (Aisin ATF WS), while the F-Pace uses a ZF 8HP (ZF Lifeguard 8). These are completely different transmissions with different fluid requirements. Confirming which fluid is in your vehicle before service is critical.
