The 01P solenoid body deteriorates from heat cycling. Solenoid valve sticking causes erratic 5-speed shift behavior.
Symptoms: Erratic shifts, limp mode, DTC codes across P0750 range
Torque converter shudder develops from LT 71141 degradation in V6 applications.
Symptoms: Vibration at 40–60 mph, DTC P0740
FWD V6 Audi/Passat applications generate significant heat. Neglected LT 71141 causes accelerated wear across all internal components.

01P rebuild replaces solenoid body, all clutch packs, torque converter, and all seals. LT 71141 fluid used. Valve body is ultrasonically cleaned.
VW/Audi G 052 162 A1 ATF (LT 71141 spec) every 40,000 miles. V6 applications benefit from an auxiliary cooler. Never use Dexron or generic ATF.
