Honda's 5-speed retained similar clutch pack sizing issues. The 3rd and 4th clutch packs overheat under repeated high-torque shifts, especially in Acura TL applications.

BAYA rebuild replaces all five-speed clutch packs with upgraded frictions. Valve body is cleaned and all solenoids replaced. Speed sensors are tested and replaced. Torque converter is rebuilt with new friction disc. All bearings, seals, and washers are renewed.
Honda ATF-Z1 every 30,000 miles. The BAYA generates more heat than 4-speed predecessors — an external cooler is a worthwhile upgrade for any Accord or TL used for towing or spirited driving.
