BJGA TCC shudder is amplified by AWD drivetrain loads. The added torque transfer through the rear axle increases heat load on the TCC friction disc.
Symptoms: Shudder at 40–55 mph, more noticeable on AWD engagement, DTC P0740
The rear differential uses separate Honda DPS-F fluid. Neglecting this service causes rear differential bearing wear and eventually AWD system failure.

One or more of the six shift solenoids develops electrical resistance out of spec, causing intermittent shift quality issues.

BJGA rebuild replaces all clutch packs, torque converter (upgraded friction), and shift solenoid set. Rear differential is serviced with DPS-F fluid. All seals and bearings are renewed. AWD transfer unit is inspected and serviced.
Change ATF-DW1 every 30,000 miles and Honda DPS-F rear differential fluid every 30,000 miles — these are separate services. Never use the same fluid for both.
