Torque Converter Lockup Clutch Failure

The C5 added a lockup TCC (distinguishing it from the C4). The lockup clutch wears and causes shudder at highway speed under light throttle, or slips and disengages erratically.

TV Plunger Wear

Governor Valve Sticking
