Torque converter clutch shudder is endemic on the FN4A-EL. Degraded ATF-M5 or Mercon V causes TCC friction disc glazing.

The band servo piston seal fails, causing 2nd and 4th gear slip from band engagement loss.
Symptoms: Slip in 2nd gear under acceleration, DTC P0732, RPM flare on 1-2 upshift
Varnish from degraded ATF-M5 clogs solenoid passages, causing shift timing errors.

FN4A-EL rebuild replaces band servo seal, solenoid body, all clutch packs, torque converter, and all seals. ATF-M5 or Mercon V used.
