The Juke 1.6T generates more torque than the JF009E was designed for. Belt wear is the primary failure mode, often before 100,000 miles.
Symptoms: Whine under acceleration, hesitation, DTC P0868, vehicle won't accelerate above 30 mph
Chicago city driving causes start clutch wear. Shudder on departure from a stop is common after 60,000 miles.

Line pressure control solenoid fails, reducing belt clamping force and causing slip.

JF009E rebuild replaces belt, pulleys, start clutch, and all solenoids. NS-3 fluid. All seals renewed. Juke turbocharged applications receive additional inspection for belt fatigue.
NS-3 CVT fluid every 25,000 miles for Juke turbo, 30,000 miles for Cube and Micra. Juke owners should add an auxiliary cooler β turbocharged heat loads are significant for this CVT.
