The JF015E uses a discrete first-gear clutch ('launch gear') before entering CVT ratio range. This clutch wears in stop-and-go driving.

JF015E rebuild replaces belt, pulleys, launch gear clutch, and all solenoids. NS-3 fluid (Nissan) or CVTF-J4 (Mitsubishi) used per application. All seals renewed.
Verify correct fluid per manufacturer (NS-3 for Nissan, CVTF-J4 for Mitsubishi) every 30,000 miles. Do not mix fluids between brands.
