The hybrid inverter cooling circuit can cross-contaminate the ATF in rare cases, causing both fluid and electrical issues.

Toyota WS ATF every 40,000 miles for the conventional trans portion. The hybrid system adds complexity β maintain dealer relationship for inverter and HV battery service.
We rebuild the conventional automatic transmission portion of the U250E. The hybrid motor and inverter components are outside our scope β those require Toyota-certified hybrid specialists with HV safety training.
