TCC shudder from degraded WS fluid is by far the most common U660E complaint. Toyota issued TSB T-SB-0117-15 specifically addressing U660E TCC shudder. Fresh WS fluid resolves the majority of cases.
Symptoms: Shudder or vibration at 40–55 mph under light throttle; clears under hard acceleration; worse in warm weather
Linear shift solenoids (SL1-SL4) wear at 120k–150k miles causing harsh shift quality.

Valve body pressure regulator bore wear causing low line pressure and multiple gear slip.
