The 7AT in the Red Sport 400 is calibrated for performance driving but has similar reliability to the standard Q60. The higher-output 3.0T generates more heat, making fluid changes every 40,000 miles more important for high-performance use.
The Q60 and Q50 share the same 7AT platform (and 9AT on some Q50 models). Many service procedures and parts are common between the two vehicles.
