Power Transfer Unit - the gear assembly that distributes power from the front-mounted engine to all four wheels. The PTU has its own fluid and seal. A common F-Pace failure is PTU output seal leak, which can starve the PTU of fluid and cause internal damage if not caught.
The SVR's ZF 8HP76 is a higher-torque-capacity version of the standard 8HP. Service procedures and fluid spec are the same. More frequent fluid changes (every 35,000 miles) are recommended given the 550 hp supercharged output.
