545RFE: Solenoid pack replacement resolves most limp-mode situations ($550–800). If internal damage from extended limp-mode driving, full rebuild needed ($1,600–2,100). ZF 8HP: valve body repair or rebuild depending on damage. NV241: chain replacement during same visit as transmission work saves significant labor.

On a 2005–2010 WK with 545RFE, limp mode is almost always the solenoid pack. Clear codes, restart, and bring it in. Solenoid pack replacement is $550–800.
