2015–2018: Aisin TF-80SC 6-speed automatic. 2019–present: Aisin TG-81SC 8-speed automatic. Cross Country variant: AWD with Haldex rear differential.
TF-80SC service is the same as the rest of the Volvo lineup — we stock solenoid kits and rebuild parts. The Haldex rear diff on AWD models is a separate service: Haldex fluid change every 30,000 miles prevents the coupling wear that causes turn shudder. Cooler banjo fitting leaks are a straightforward R&R.

Probably not — V60 AWD shudder in turns is almost always the Haldex coupling, not the main transmission. Haldex fluid service ($149) typically resolves it.
