The JF011E is Jatco's earlier CVT generation, used in Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Chrysler vehicles. It shares the steel push belt design with the JF016E but has a smaller diameter and different pulley geometry. Failure rates are comparable. Particularly common in Jeep Compass and Patriot — vehicles that buyers often expect to be truck-tough but come with a CVT that wasn't designed for off-road stress.
