ZF 6HP: ZF LGF6. ZF 8HP: ZF LGF8. Change every 40,000 miles.
Mechatronic: 1β2 days. ZF rebuild: 3β4 days.

1β2 days including VCDS adaptation coding.
ZF 8HP is a capable unit β failures are typically from fluid neglect rather than design weakness. Change LGF8 every 40,000 miles.
