6T75: SRV sleeve repair resolves most shift complaints. TCC shudder: converter replacement if fluid service alone doesn't resolve it. 9T65: newer β valve body service and PCM reflash first; rebuild if mechanical wear is present.

More efficient, but early calibration was rough. Newer production is better. Both generations are serviceable.
