U660E linear solenoid failure is the likely cause on a 2013–2018 RAV4 AWD. Same repair as Camry — often fixable without a full rebuild.
AWD requires additional transfer case and coupling inspection, adding $149–249 to the service. We always inspect both when pulling an AWD transmission.
