MKS 6F55 service is identical to MKT EcoBoost - same transmission, same issues, same repair path. Mercon LV fluid verification first. Solenoid pack testing with Ford IDS. Torque converter shudder test under highway cruise. PTU seal inspection. For EcoBoost MKS, we often recommend adding an aftermarket auxiliary cooler after rebuild to prevent recurrence. All rebuilds include updated solenoid pack and Mercon LV flush.
